About the book: 

In the same manner as touching picture books like bestsellers Let Me Hold You Longer and Love You Forever, I Couldn't Love You More tells a sweet, loving, yet powerful message: I couldn’t love you more, but there is someone who does. Through the unique relationship of adorable animals, the book shares that Christ is always with you and he loves you more than you can imagine. This engaging picture book combines lovable and irresistible images with the lyrics from the song (co-written by Jason Ingram and Matt Hammitt). Matt is lead vocalist for Sanctus Real, a Grammy-nominated Christian rock band. The song is on Hammitt’s latest album, Every Fallen Tear. When Matt and his wife, Sarah, were halfway through her pregnancy, they discovered their son would be born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS), a rare congenital defect. Matt and Sarah’s son, Bowen, was born on 9/9/10 and received a huge following through the Hammitt’s blog (bowensheart.com), K-LOVE, and ABC News. A portion of the proceeds from the book goes to the foundation the Hammitts’ have started to help parents with children who have this heart condition.

My thoughts: 

Jesus has so much love for us and to know that is an amazing feeling. This is more than just a book,  it is a story of His love. It is important for my son to know just how much he is loved. I tell him all the time. He tells me all the time. He needs to hear it and he needs to feel it. We are all so busy that sometimes we get into a routine of things and it can feel just like it, a routine. Love is not routine. I make sure to love on my baby boy every chance I get, just because. Just because I love him. He knows that the only love greater than mine is the love of Jesus. 

We really enjoyed this book and will continue reading it nightly. I think this is a great book to use as a tool to help establish your childs faith. I hope all children know of His love. I hope they all are able to feel His touch through anothers embrace. 

I must also add that the illustrations in this book are absolutely stunning. The artist Polona Lovsin is an amazing artist. We loved all of the pictures, cover to cover, just beautiful!

My Opinion:

This is such a beautiful book, both the story and the illustrations. The lesson was great, even my three year old SON got it. He does not sit still for long and he sat in my lap and paid attention through the entire book. He was fascinated with the pictures and would point out things as I read them. I have a certain little girl in mind who will be receiving this book from us, I can't wait to share it with her.

I was recently given the opportunity to try and review a Farm Rich product. If you aren't familiar with Farm Rich, you can find their quick snacks and appetizers in your local grocers frozen section. I had a hard time deciding which product I wanted to try, there were many things to choose from.

 My husband and I finally decided on the mozzarella sticks. As with many Farm Rich products, the mozzarella sticks are quick and easy to make, you can bake them in the oven or just pop them in the microwave.

How did we like them?
Well to be completely honest, we didn't care for them. I think it was the marinara sauce being baked in with the cheese stick that I just didn't care for. They weren't bad, just not something I really liked. I wouldn't buy the mozzarella sticks again but I would like to get something else to try out. I was really wanting to try the stuffed pretzel bites but my husband isn't big on pretzels. I've had other Farm Rich products before in the past and really enjoyed them so I will for sure try them again sometime.

My Review:

I could not put this book down. I loved it. It's a murder mystery that kept me on my toes. Every time I thought I had it figured out a new character would be introduced or a main detail would change and throw me  back off again. It was a fast read and very entertaining. I will definitely be looking for more books by B.J. Daniels!

And Smile I Did

Today was absolutely fabulous! We hung out with our awesome friends Diana and Logan again. It was a laid back lazy day, just went to target, walmart and back home to play. Somebody SUPER Special is having his Third Birthday on Saturday so I was looking around for Thomas the Train gifts. We already got him a couple of things but I was hoping to find a little bit more. We went way overboard on Christmas this year I think so I was trying to keep it a bit simple for his birthday. We aren't going to have a big party just family and then I will take him and a couple of friends to bounce sometime next week. Anyhow so we looked around for a bit and then came back to my house to play. I think the boys had a great time. I promised Logan on Sunday that he could come over and play in Colts room so I hope he enjoyed it. They were a bit rough with each other as boys are but poor Logan got a boo boo right by his eye. :( Praying a black eye doesn't come of it! Yikes. Sorry DY if it does! 


While they were here I saw that Coastal Contacts was having a free glasses giveaway AGAIN! How awesome. The only thing though was that they were only giving away 100! Last time it was like 10,000 pairs so I figured 100 would be gone within ten minutes. I jumped on the computer and ordered the first pair I found that I liked! I got the free deal! Yea. Only paid $13.00 in shipping. So then Diana hopped on and she scored a free pair too! What an awesome day!!!

Ever since Sunday I just feel really great about the way things are going. I'm excited to see what 2011 has in store for us! I'm excited to let things go and just live and be happy.
