Had bunco last Friday. It was fun as always and the food was super yummy! We had a delicious spread this month. Baked sweet potatoes(rosemary? DELICIOUS!!), potato salad, chicken, fruit, salad, veggies, spinach dip, chips, cupcakes, cookies, homemade biscuits!, and so much more. I made a Gluten-free lasagna. It was good. One of the girls is GF and I noticed all of my ingredients were gluten free except for the noodles so I made a little trip to
Akins and picked some up. They were relatively cheap. Only $3.99, I was afraid they were going to be very pricey! I grabbed an extra box to give to my sister so she can make lasagna sometime. I was very happy with the way it turned out. I did cook the noodles a bit too long though. I turned the heat off but I wasn't finished getting the rest of my filling done and so I left them sitting in the hot water.....they broke apart. It was like a puzzle getting all the pieces to fill the pan. You couldn't tell when eating it though so all was well. I didn't win this month but that's okay, its nice to give the other girls a chance! HA. In January I won for most losses and in February I won for most buncos. I can't wait for next month, I just need to figure out what I'm going to make.
