I've missed you.

I've been playing nurse if you were wondering where I've been. Someone needs to put this house in a bubble because these germs are overpowering all the Clorox in the area. I think Pre-K will be the death of us all. Since December one, some, or all of us have been sick every week and weekend. Its crazy ridiculous. Recently my husband was down with strep and pink eye. This man NEVER gets sick. Like EVER. Yet he came down with Pneumonia, strep and pink eye all within the last month and a half. Poor guy! I think we are finally all well but who knows what will happen by the end of the week with the kiddo heading back to school today. Prayers for health would be greatly appreciated!

In the meantime though I've had a handful of products come in to try out so be on the lookout for some reviews and I have some great coupons to giveaway for some free/highly discounted products.

What are some of your #1 tips on keeping the germs at bay? Do you have a good hand lotion recommendation? My hands are so dry they are cracking from all the hand washing and antibacterial gel.

April Bunco 2011

Went to bunco Friday night. Had a blast as usual and I won most wins! Yay! Go Me!!! We had some yummy breakfast foods and a lot of great laughs. We were missing four players and we are down one permanent player so we had 2 subs and 3 ghosts. I'm ready for it to be next month so I can go play and see the girls again!
Yesterday we stayed home and did some spring cleaning all day long! I'm still exhausted. I thought Colt was better and he was but yesterday he started saying his ear hurt and then today he woke up with a snotty nose and sounding congested. I'm debating whether I should take him to the doctor or wait a day. The ear thing worries me though because he has never said his ear hurts before. Oh and he woke me up crying the other night saying his head hurt. He is playing around and acting fine, a little more clingy than normal but I just don't want him to have an ear infection and I not take him. Hmmmm....what to do.

I feel bad that I haven't been on here much lately.
I had a blonde moment the other day.....I gave myself a concussion....getting into my car. Yep I bonked my head HARD getting into my car and made myself sick. The hubs made me call my doctor the next day when I wasn't getting any better and they told me to go to the ER. So off we went to waste some money for a ct scan. Everything was fine just have a concussion and will feel like crud for up to two weeks. I'm on day 4 and still feel like crap. I thought I'd wake up and feel great today but no I was actually feeling worse. So today I'm staying home and sleeping all day to rest.
We had a family passing this week. It was somewhat sudden. He had been sick but I thought he was getting better. Wish we would of gone and seen him again but grateful that we spent Christmas with him. He will be missed greatly.
It just hasn't been a good week for us.
