Yanni Truth of Touch -Review-

Yanni Truth of Touch

This is Yanni's first instrumental release of original compositions in over eight years. I'd say it was well worth the wait. I have really been enjoying listening to this new CD. Its hard to choose but I think tracks 9 & 12 are my favorite, Guilty Pleasure and Long Way Home. When I hear these beautiful songs I can feel it, the movement, it just runs through you. I think it would be perfectly paired with a dancer, that's what I picture in my head when I hear it.

Yanni just kicked off his North American tour on 3/22. You can check for available dates near you here. Hurry though, some are already sold out. Yanni Truth Of Touch is available in stores now, so be sure to check it out.

I received a digital copy of Yanni Truth of Touch  by One2One Network in exchange for my honest opinion, whether that be negative or positive. All opinions expressed are my own. No other compensation was provided. By posting this review I will be entered into a drawing for a gift card.

Its Gettin' Hot In Here

My baby boy was up with a fever all night long. Poor baby. He was burning up and didn't want to take any medicine and would just cry. It made me feel so helpless. I didn't know what to do for him. He didn't even want Momma to hold him. He would wake up every so often and whimper which had me on high alert so I'm kind of out of it today. Wait, is that any different from any other day? Ha! I don't think there is enough coffee in the world to get me to wake up today. It's going to be a lazy day of staying in our jammies and watching movies and lots and lots of cuddles. Hopefully he will be well enough that I can leave him home with daddy and sneak off to church tonight.
Hope you all are in good health today!

Oh I added a blog button on the right hand side. Feel free to grab it and post it to your site! :)

-Review- Time with God For Mothers

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. -John 3:16

Wow! What an amazing little book. Time with God for Mothers, a devotional gift book by Jack Countryman is a beautifully written and illustrated book. I really enjoyed how with each scripture there is also either a prayer or an explanation. As a somewhat new Christian this is the perfect book for me. I don't always know what to say when I pray and it was really nice to see some examples of what everything means and to have certain prayers available to me. In the back of the book there is three sections available to help you easily reach what you need: Mothers' Prayers in the Bible, The Responsibilities of Motherhood, and The Promises of Motherhood. There is also a Notes section so you can write down your thoughts and prayers. This is such a wonderful book that is very inspirational for me, I can't wait to get a copy to give to my best friend who is a new Mother. I know she will just love it!

This cute little book is illustrated with beautiful jewelry by Elly Preston of The Purple Door. To view her full line go to: www.mypurpledoor.com

I received this book from BookSneeze.com as part of their book review blogger program in exchange for an honest review whether it be negative or positive. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

My bestie moved this weekend and she is now close enough that I can ride my bike to her place! And that's exactly what I did yesterday! I love it!!! I'm glad she is back home(near me) where she belongs! :) Our daily morning coffee dates are back! It is so nice to have her only a bike ride(or walk) away.

My Week In Review

This week was pretty eventful and exhausting. It was a great week until yesterday morning. I got in to a small little tiff with a very close friend. :( It was over something stupid and then just escalated from there. I'm hoping all is resolved now and we can just move on. Love her!  I hate fighting with friends. It makes me sick to my stomach.
Anyways here is some pictures from our week:
We had family day and made a pizza and played Kinect
Ha! Its the only pic I got with his hat on!
We went to the Children's Museum & had lots of fun
Let me outta here!
Mailman
After we went to the museum we stopped by the cemetery to see if the bulbs we planted had bloomed. Some did, some were still coming up.

Also, don't forget the current giveaway ends tomorrow. If you're interested in entering then go and enter here.
