-Review- Regret Free Parenting

Regret Free Parenting: Raise Good Kids and Know You're Doing It Right
By: Catherine Hickem, LCSW
Founder of Intentional Moms

"The stronger you are as a person and mother, the stronger you will be for your children."

In Regret Free Parenting, author Catherine Hickem focuses on seven main principles; understanding your purpose, knowing and affirming your child, keeping vision, developing emotional intelligence, maintaining your position, addressing your fears(one of my faves!), and being dependent on God. For me this book was not only about being a better mother but also about being a better Christian.

I love that there is the Regret-free Parenting Plan in the back of the book to help you put what you've learned into action and really change and better the way that you're parenting. I also enjoyed the faith points throughout the book, referencing us back to the Bible.

This was an eye-opener book for me. I am a stay at home mom and sometimes I do struggle with the what ifs and I get overwhelmed and wonder if I'm doing this mom thing the right way. This book helped me to figure out how to be a better mom and be stronger as a person. I definitely recommend this book to my family and friends.

"People won't remember the dates of your birth and death but what you did with the time in between."

I received this book from BookSneeze.com as part of their book review blogger program in exchange for an honest review whether it be negative or positive. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
