Father's Day

For Father's Day Jay took us to west Tulsa to see some trains. They were huge. I wasn't expecting it to be so big. It was fun. We just walked around and looked at it and then we drove around where the working trains were and watched them for a bit. It was a nice fun time. Colton absolutely loved it!

Afterwards we ran a few errands and then came home. We lounged around and played in the sprinkler.

Hillsong Aftermath

Have I ever mentioned how awesome my bestie is? I have, well let me say it again....SHE ROCKS! I had been talking about wanting to go see the Hillsong United concert for quite a while but I wasn't sure if I would be able to afford it and then one day(about a month ago) my bestie called me up and told me she was taking me to the concert! Say What?! Yeah I know, it's okay to be jealous.....my bestie is one of a kind.

So the Friday after I got back from my mini-vacay, I went to an incredible concert and had a blast with my girls. It was so much fun. I may just have to become a concert junkie now.....but I'll probably just stick to my every weekend fix of going to church. Our worship team is awesome at COTM. There is so much love there. 

 There was one part that was by far my absolute favorite at the concert. I've been searching for a video of it but can't find it. I don't even know how to describe it. If you were there then you most likely know what I'm referring to. I think it was just one of those moments that you had to be there and experience for yourself.

It was an amazing concert and I'm so glad that I got to go with two of the most amazing ladies I know! We had so much fun. I can't wait until they come back to Tulsa again.

Texas Trip

What a week! We had so much fun in Texas. I've missed my second family so much. It was great getting to spend some time with them and meeting the most beautiful little girl ever! Baby girl was an absolute doll! She is a happy baby, always smiling and playing. Love her so much!

We were all sad when it was time to say goodbye but I think Colt took it the hardest. He loves his Aunt Coco and Maicey so much. He has been talking about them non-stop and wants his Maicey to come to his house and play. Makes me sad to have to tell him she lives too far away to come play.
I'll have to post some more pics later on, for some reason blogger isn't uploading my pictures. I'm going to try to get on here more from now on. I've been in a funk the last couple of months. Normally I love getting up at 5am and staying awake and that was usually when I had my time for blogging, but here lately I just feel so tired. I get up, make Jays lunch and as soon as he leaves I go back to bed and if I have it my way I stay there until almost 10am. That is super late for this house. I just can't seem to wake up, I'm always tired. I think its just the stress and anxiety of everything. I've got some fun things planned for Colt so we'll be getting out of the house more and I have a few projects I need to get finished. I have a book I need to finish reading so I can post my review on it. So much to do....gotta get my butt in gear!

I'm in Texas right now! We (me, mom and the kid) decided to take a last minute road trip and surprise my BFF by showing up unannounced to her Baby Girls 1st Birthday party! I'm writing this in advance and scheduling it to post so hopefully all goes according to plan. She is going to be super shocked! I'm so excited!!!!

Shh....I Have A Secret

I'm horrible at keeping secrets when it comes to things that I am excited about...and this secret...is HUGE! Something I've been wanting to do for a really long time is about to come to life! I can hardly contain myself! I'll let the cat out of the bag this weekend. Stay tuned....

Fun In The Sun

Jay worked Saturday so Colton and I headed out to my parents house for a day of fun in the sun. Dad grilled up some delicious hamburgers and hot dogs and we just enjoyed the day. I love spending time at my parents house with my family. I wasn't a nice teenager to my parents and as soon as I graduated I tried to stay away from home as much as possible. Now that I'm older and have a kid of my own I realize how many years were wasted. I am so grateful that I have such a close relationship with my parents. I have an amazing relationship with my Mom and she means everything to me. I leave you with some pretty pictures from that day.

M.I.A.

I haven't been on much lately. Colton had an awful stomach virus for about a week and I had to take him to the doctor for dehydration. While he was sick, Jay ended up coming down with a different virus and he was home  for a couple of days. He never stays home from work no matter how sick he is so I knew how bad he must of been feeling. They finally got all better and then BAM train wreck here I am. I ended up going through some sudden things and have just been keeping to myself for the past week. I'm finally feeling a little bit back to myself and even had the bestie over so the boys could play today. It was nice to have some normalcy again.
