Lunch Date

I've been dealing with a lot of stress regarding my health lately. I don't want to elaborate on anything until I know something so if you could just keep me in your prayers, I would really appreciate it! I should have some answers in a couple of weeks. My bestie took me out for a distressing lunch date last week. It was very yummy. She got the veggie fajitas and I got a chicken chili relleno. Delicious! She always knows the way to my heart is through food.....of course that just means she is contributing to clogging my arteries and expanding my waistline so I'm not sure how much that says about our relationship...er...friendship. We are at that awkward stage of the relationship, you know the one where she likes me, I like her, shes married, I'm married. Oh and neither one of us bat for the other team or would it be the same team? So in other words we are just really good friends. :) Our husbands are best friends too but not as good or close of friends as us....or at least I hope.  That would be too strange.
Blast from the past!

Dramatic......ME????.....Nah

The besties son had to have a sedated MRI last week. I went to support and entertain her. We won't find the results out until next week so until then we will just continue to pray that they have found some answers and that it is not of a serious nature. For now I leave you with my theatrics. ::SMILE::

Twister Mania - Review-

We had a fun party the other day. We didn't have much of a turn out but boy did we have more fun than I ever imagined we would. I don't think I have ever laughed so hard.
Twist into FUN with Twister™ Mania
With Twister Mania you have to twist your body into the different shapes shown to you on the screen. You play with the Xbox 360 Kinect so it registers what you are doing and if you are hitting the shapes or not. There are several modes you can play and I promise there is no way you can play without laughing and shedding a few tears(of joy of course!). My absolute favorite was where we created a pose and everyone had to try to copy it. We had such a great time that my bestie decided right then and there that she would be getting an Xbox and Kinect so she could play with her four children.
We will definitely be getting together to play Twister Mania again. We realized that not only were we having a great time we were also getting a good workout throughout it. We had a blast and I am so grateful that we had this awesome opportunity to try something new and different.

I was invited to be a host of House Party sponsored by Twister Mania. I was provided a sample party pack (which included the game, coupons, balloons and twisty straws) to try in exchange for my honest opinion. No other compensation was provided. All opinions noted are mine and mine alone.

The Next Step....

I'm not the greatest when it comes to change or new experiences. If I don't know exactly what to expect then more than likely I won't be doing it. I realized last night at church that I don't only do that in daily activities but I've done that with my walk with God. There is so much I'd like to do to grow with Him and the church but because I haven't been down this road before, I stop myself short. I've been keeping myself from great things. I look forward to jumping in with both feet from now on and not letting my anxiety or fears get the best of me. I'm excited for the amazing things God is doing in my life and all that He has in store for me!

On the Road--- Tomorrow morning the bestie and I are headed to OKC for the Women of Faith 'Over the Top' conference. We are so excited. Thank you to Women of Faith and BookSneeze for providing me with this awesome opportunity!

Hillsong Aftermath

Have I ever mentioned how awesome my bestie is? I have, well let me say it again....SHE ROCKS! I had been talking about wanting to go see the Hillsong United concert for quite a while but I wasn't sure if I would be able to afford it and then one day(about a month ago) my bestie called me up and told me she was taking me to the concert! Say What?! Yeah I know, it's okay to be jealous.....my bestie is one of a kind.

So the Friday after I got back from my mini-vacay, I went to an incredible concert and had a blast with my girls. It was so much fun. I may just have to become a concert junkie now.....but I'll probably just stick to my every weekend fix of going to church. Our worship team is awesome at COTM. There is so much love there.

There was one part that was by far my absolute favorite at the concert. I've been searching for a video of it but can't find it. I don't even know how to describe it. If you were there then you most likely know what I'm referring to. I think it was just one of those moments that you had to be there and experience for yourself.
It was an amazing concert and I'm so glad that I got to go with two of the most amazing ladies I know! We had so much fun. I can't wait until they come back to Tulsa again.

THANK YOU BESTIE!! You would totally Rock My Socks Off....if we were into that sort of thing. Much Love.
